It came out very nicely, I think! I'll be wearing it at Further Confusion this weeked, so look for me there! Just please no pouncing or other roughhousing. It's a fragile suit, and I'm VERY blind while wearing it. I'd hate to damage it or me.

Re: Calico cat costume is all done
Tue, January 22, 2008 - 12:36 PMThat looks great! I'll be leaving my calico cat at home though. To many people bring untrained and big dogs to that con.
But my bunny fursuit is now done (pics in my profile). Thanks for the tips. Your previously posted tutorials really helped me construct it. -

Re: Calico cat costume is all done
Wed, January 23, 2008 - 11:46 AMFYI, your cat also matches my cat. Also a calico with markings on her head and tail. One thing I always thought funny about Calico's, is that the orange markings arn't there when they are kittens, just the dark ones. My cat has some orange on her hind leg, and when it first started to appear, I thought she'd been pooping on her leg, so started to wash her leg all the time... Until I realized she was meant to be that color.
And hey, did you realize the first cats cloned were Calico's? As I've never seen the mother of my cat, I sometimes wonder if all Calico's are cloned. I see you have mastered the art of cloning your cat into human shape. Go GMO!
www.cbsnews.com/stories/20...37380.shtml
The one thing they discovered about Calico's, is that the markings are determined while the cat is in the womb, hence can not be reproduced during cloning.
This now concludes my portion of useless trivia facts.
